GAYBY is a service/platform that matches LGBT+ couples and single women with gay sperm donors.
Known gay donors. Mutual-matching.
I’m Dennis Kwan, the founder of Gayby, and this venture all came about because of my own personal journey to make a baby.
I’m 42, 6’7”, Asian and Gay, and have always dreamed of having a biological child with these genetic-lottery-winning genes but with no desire to actually put in the work required to be a full-time parent.
Fortunately I met an incredible couple, Lorna and Melissa who chose me as their sperm donor to help create their family and are excited to have me become part of this family in a “fun uncle-dad” kind of role.

Since meeting online in a Facebook message board as strangers to embarking on a yearlong journey to get pregnant and becoming great friends and soon-to-be family along the way we’ve been sharing our story with friends and acquaintances many of whom expressed that they too would be open and interested to create a child in this way.
Here’s a video chronicling our own journey which led us here:
So we created GAYBY.
We are currently building an app that will be free for all to use. We want to make matching and baby-making accessible to all. But maintaining an app and online platform with a staff to facilitate matching comes at a cost, so we are relying on generous supporters who believe in our mission to keep us going until we find a path to profitability.
Please consider giving as much as you can. All funds raised will go toward expanding and promoting Gayby around the world.
While our aim is to primarily assist LGBT+ donors and recipients for whom this type of service seems to be most needed and wanted, we are of course open to all.
It is our dream to grow this platform to be known and used globally by thousands or even millions of people and to normalize these types of non-traditional family structures.
Welcome to the future of family!
No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or returns on investment are offered in exchange for any donations made to this GoFundMe.
