My name is Theresa Buddecke.  Gay has been my friend for years and is one of the most giving people I have ever met.  Anyone who has known her long has probably been given some cute little gift basket for some event.  She selflessly gives of her time to her church (& youth at my church!), her friends, her family, her work family,  and   special elderly ladies in her life.
     Gay was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer in July and has just completed her third surgery to remove it.  She will be at least 4 days in ICU and 2 more weeks in the hospital for this event.  In a few months she will need to travel with her husband Brent to Boston for 6 weeks of a specialized radiation.
     Though they are both hard-working individuals who have managed to live frugally and squirrel away a bit for retirement, the treatment so far (as well as the travel expenses), have significantly affected their financial future.  Gay will not be able work for some time and Brent desires to be there to support his wife as much as possible.
     People have asked how they can help.......Financial gifts will be immensely appreciated though Brent and Gay would never ask for them.
