We are raising money to send humanitarian aid to Ukraine via Felsted Aid for Deprived Children (also known as UK-Aid). Ukraine has suffered so much from the effects of the 2022 war and as of now amongst urgently needed aid items are: food, particularly tinned and dried food, toiletries, ladies sanitary products, medical items in date, baby and maternity items, and generators. The more we raise the more help we can give.

Aid-Uk has been in existence as an aid charity for over 25 years. It started by helping the thousands of children directly affected by the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster, particularly in partnership with the rehabilitation centre in Chernihiv. Whilst it continues to support this centre, its current focus is on maximising the humanitarian aid it sends to communities across Ukraine. The charity sends convoys of 2 lorries and 3 vans full of aid to Ukraine at least 3 times a year. The convoy which has just returned from Ukraine delivered over 30 tons of vital aid. The 2 founders of the charity were awarded the MBE in the latest New Year's Honours List for services to Humanitarian Aid particularly in Ukraine. Alan, a co-Founder, has just completed 94 trips as a driver to Ukraine. Needs remain desperate but we cannot give up. Slava Ukraini .
