Hello,

Arjang is a gay man from Iran who was living in Kyiv, where he was studying audio engineering and sound design. He was also composing and producing music for artists in many countries. When the Russian invasion started to get closer to Kyiv, he was able to flee Ukraine, but could only bring a small backpack, so he had to leave all his equipment behind. He managed to get to Sweden, where he has applied for asylum and is looking to re-build his life. He has stable, but temporary housing outside of Stockholm right now.

This fundraiser is to help him get the equipment he needs to start working again so that he can become self-sufficient. The biggest expense is to buy a good computer that can handle the programs he uses. We are hoping to get him a relatively recent MacBook Pro and would of course accept that as a donation directly in Sweden. He also needs a lot of the basics, such as clothes and various household items once he is able to move into a place of his own, but hopefully he will be able to buy that himself once he starts working again.
