My name is Robert Wolowski. My 10-year-old son, Gavin, is an accomplished soccer player. He attended a Barcelona Soccer Camp in Michigan this past summer, and was one of the select few players from 40 camps across the United States to earn an invitation to attend a 9-day trip to Barcelona, Spain to train with the professional coaches and experience the culture of Barcelona and its prestigious football club.

As a schoolteacher, I understand the importance of providing my son with the opportunity to attend this camp as it will be a life changing experience.It is also an honor that he was selected. However, I am reaching out for financial support as this is a substantial expense. $3,800 covers room and board, food, airfare, training, and excursions for Gavin. Gavin’s mom and I will be traveling to Barcelona, Spain with Gavin, which is an additional expense for us. If we are able to reach our goal of $3,800, any additional support will help with the expense for his mom and I.

Gavin says, “I really appreciated the camp because of how interesting and fun it was. I learned a lot from the coaches, especially the goalie coach who said ‘Maravilloso’ every time I made a big save. I am excited to go to Spain and learn more from the coaches, play where Leo Messi played when he was 12, and maybe learn a few Spanish words”.
