Hi, my name is Brenna Jacquette (Gavins nanny) and I am starting this GoFundMe to try and help April and Ryan with Gavins medical bills.
As most of you know, Gavin has spent most of January and February sick. It's tough seeing any little one sick, but with Gavin, this has been heartbreaking.
With Gavin being nonverbal it's tough to pinpoint what's wrong. But Gavin being his smart self, hes found ways to let us know what's wrong! Guiding our hand to the spot that hurts, taking our hand to his medicine when he needs it. But this time it's been different.
Typically Gavin can eat like a little man but as of the last few weeks that has come to a halt. He had went over a week without eating but would drink juice or water when push came to shove. Gavin then began running temperatures, crying sporadically and sleeping most of the day.
He is now in the best place he can be, Childrens Hospital. He has been there for 5 days and 4 nights and will not be discharged for another few days. They have taken blood multiple times, hes gotten many bags of IV fluids, CT scans, ultrasounds, he just got a feeding tube 2 days ago and unfortunately more testing is to come.
For those of you who know April and Ryan know that they are always the first ones to help if someone needs it. They havent been dealt the easiest deck of cards so I pray we can make this time a little easier on them.
