Gavin Pierson and Family

This wonderful family could use some help right now. The Pierson family have been through many years of fighting for and worrying about their son Gavin. Gavin is their middle child. At the age of 5, Gavin was diagnosed with a brain tumor . He has undergone 6 craniotomy’s with the most recent one being just a week a go. 12 years of Gavin and his family ( dad , Steve, mom Nicole , older sister Grace and younger brother Gage ) praying , fighting , worrying and now celebrating that Gavin’s tumor is now GONE . Gavin has undergone more than any human should ever go through including but not limited to his 6 craniotomy’s, 7 laser ablations on the tumor and 6 different shunt surgeries. He is a true warrior who has paved paths for children who may experience this in the future.

Gavin’s latest craniotomy finally took down this bully of a tumor . As in the past , the Piersons knew this may take yet another toll on Gavin’s brain and body , and unfortunately it is taking Gavin longer than anticipated to wake up from this big surgery. The Doctors are saying it could be days if not weeks for him to wake up fully .

When Gavin’s body and brain are healed enough for him to wake up, he will be facing a long road of occupational , physical and speech therapies until he regains enough strength to go home.

All of these unknowns have put a financial hardship on Steve and Nicole .
