Gavin Liu Eagle Project at Hamilton Elementary School

Hello!

My name is Gavin, and I’m a Life Scout with Troop 1014 in Cypress Texas. I’m excited to share that I am working toward earning the highest rank in Scouting: Eagle Scout. A key step in this journey is completing a service project that gives back to the community — and I need your support!

For my Eagle Project, I will be landscaping the entrance area at Hamilton Elementary, where I went to school from kindergarten though 5th grade!!! My project is to perform landscaping at the entrance area. We will redo the exterior edging, take out extra dirt to level the area, and fill the open area with black and white rocks, that includes the school mascot "LIONS" in white rocks.

This project will provide the school a cleaner outdoor learning environment for children to learn and spend time outside.

The total project cost is estimated to be about $2,500.
