On Monday, October 24, the Gavin family took their 3 month old to Cincinnati Children's hospital with a fever. That's when they were faced with a scare no parent should ever have to face. After several long hours of tests, they finally found out their son Wesley has bacterial meningitis. This can be dangerous for anyone but for someone this young, it's life threatening.
Family came to their side to watch over their 3 year old son, so Ryan and Lauren could be by Wesley's side. Doctors and nurses have not left his side either. Many tests and procedures have been done and many more will continue over the next few weeks monitoring him closely, tracking his progress.
During this process, neither Ryan nor Lauren will be working so they can be with their sweet little boy. The Gavin family can use all the prayers possible and any donation is greatly appreciated! This is such a strong family with an amazing support system.
