Hi,

This page has been set up to help with the funeral costs for the family of Gavin Courtis.

Gavin sadly suffered a medical problem on the 16th July 2024 whilst driving his HGV in Scotland.

Despite this, Gavin managed to bring the vehicle to a stop without causing injury to other road users.

A fellow driver at the incident took time to make contact with us and described how bravely Gavin acted and how he saved lives whilst fighting for his own.

Gavin was known within Hawkins Logistics as 'Mr Well Dressed'. Always came to work with a smile and was well liked and respected by many people within the Logistics industry.

Please feel free to add any memories of Gavin for the family to read, I know it will be a great comfort knowing how well he was liked.
