My name is Gavin Campbell. I live in Pawling, NY, and I am an active member of boy scout troop 34. For my Eagle Scout Service Project, I plan to implement virtual reality devices into a children’s hospital so these children can have experiences, such as sports and travel, that they would not otherwise be able to have in a hospital setting. The reason I am pursuing this project is because when I was very young, my brother died from brain cancer. I saw how miserable it seemed to just sit in that hospital room all day, so I would like to change that for other children using technology. That is why I am writing this message, to plead for any donations you can provide me with in order to follow through with this project.
