In October of 2004, my little brother was declared Cancer Free after three years of treatment for leukemia. It’s been 21 years since that day, so it feels like a really wonderful time to celebrate that he’s now healthy, happy, and a great dad to my sweet little niece.

The three years of treatment were also a really challenging time for my family, but I’m pleased to say we all made it through and maybe we’re stronger for it, or at least better at washing our hands ;)
