Help Ricky get better

Donation protected

Hi all, many know me in the cat and dog rescue community for my work in TNR, advocating for my neighbors and the pets around the city as well as the kittens I foster. Ricky was rescued from a hoarder home as a kitten and initially meant to be a TNR kitty, but I noticed something different about her and while fostering her, my online research determined she was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. it's also known as "wobbly cat syndrome" due to the affect this condition has on balance and coordination. Ricky has never been able to jump out climb and regularly "tips over". She was otherwise healthy until she started having accidents around the house. I didn't think anything of it at first due to her coordination issues. on top of that, at the end of August I had to rush my other cat (Hardy-14 months) to the ER and after expensive tests was told that the heart murmur he was born with had finally processed to preliminary heart failure. While the bill was much higher than I had set aside, I applied for and maxed out carecredit and then spent an additional $200 on meds to give him the best last 6-10 months he can have. shortly after this I lost my job and have only recently gotten back to work less than 2 weeks ago. I share this because Ricky's sudden urinary issue has hit me at such a terrible time financially. My fur babies eat nice food, have nice things, and I don't wish to hold them back from any vet care they need. I've had to unexpectedly spend almost $300 for an urgent vet visit which only covered the visit and a 2-week antibiotic shot. I was unable to afford the urinalysis on to of that. the $300 I spent was supposed to pay for my electric and water bills for the month and gas for work as well. I'm now left trying to come up with the money for the urinalysis to find out exactly why Ricky was peeing pink and also figure out how to make up the nearly $300 that were supposed to be for important bills/ costs. I am usually the one donating my time for animals in need and used to be able to donate small amounts, but here I am asking for help on behalf of Ricky and myself. I know there are people worse off than me, and I'm thankful I have a roof over our head and am back to work, but recovering from the past few months financially is not something I think I can do alone. thank you for reading this fast and here are pictures of Ricky and I will continue to add videos and pictures of her silly, bewildered expression.
