Jouri Needs Your Hope and Warmth

From the heart of a desperate mother…

My name is the mother of a beautiful, innocent little girl named Jouri Al-Areer, only 7 years old . We live in Gaza , a land torn by war and poverty, where every mother dreams of seeing her child safe, happy, and healthy.

Jouri was born into our small, poor family ‍‍ — yet her heart was filled with hope and dreams for a brighter future . She loves life, she loves to laugh , and she wishes for nothing more than to grow up surrounded by love and peace ️.

But life had other plans.

Jouri was diagnosed with a brain tumor (cancer) ️. It was a nightmare no mother should ever live through . My brave little girl began chemotherapy sessions , fighting with all her tiny strength . Slowly, I saw the light returning to her eyes , her beautiful face beginning to heal, and hope rising in our hearts again ❤️.

And then the war came.

Bombs fell. Hospitals collapsed . Medicine disappeared . The already fragile healthcare system crumbled. I became a mother torn between fear and helplessness . What could I do for my child now?

The situation grew worse as famine and starvation spread across northern Gaza ❌. My Jouri, already battling a terrible disease, became a victim of hunger too . She needed special nutrition ️ to survive her treatment — but suddenly, there was no food, no milk , not even a piece of bread to ease her hunger.

I watched my daughter’s tiny body shrink, her bones showing under her skin ⚰️, her strength fading day by day ⏳. I cried silently at night , so she wouldn’t see my tears . And when I looked into her innocent eyes ️, she whispered to me with tears , "Mama, I want to live… I want to grow up… I want to play with my little brothers like other kids."

That moment broke my heart .

I realized then, I cannot do this alone. I need kind hearts ❤️, generous souls , and humanitarians around the world who still believe in goodness and mercy . I believe you exist. People who don’t turn away from suffering . People who lift others in their darkest hours .

That’s why I started this campaign — to save my little Jouri’s life ️.
