August 27th, Gauge got out in his neighborhood and was unable to be caught. His owner, Elmir rushed into action and went to find him. Gauge was found, but not before getting hit by someone and left on the road.

He is at the emergency vet right now being taken care of. He ended up having a fractured leg and brain swelling along with some road rash. They have to wait for the brain swelling to go down before they can start working on the leg.

Anyone who is a pet owner knows how quickly the bills will come in. Elmir has always helped so many people in his community and now it's time for us to help him. If you feel so inclined any donation would be appreciated as the costs are hefty. Any money raised over the vet bill amount will be donated to a local Dog Organization.
