Gaudiya Vedanta Outreach Travel Sankirtan Van

Most of you reading this don’t need an introduction to Vasanti Dasi. She has whole-heartedly served our Srila Gurudeva, Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja by being the assistant and right hand to our dear Srimati Syamarani didi. She has helped on the publication of many his books, founded and runs the International Pure Bhakti Yoga Society Prison Program, the Gaudiya Vedanta Publication sponsorship program, and uses her Masters degree in social work to help devotees around the world, just to name a few of her multitude of devotional services. For many years, Vasanti had a Sprinter van that was her transportation and housing to visit prisons and festivals distributing Srila Gurudeva’s books and art around the United States. Although she regularly maintained and serviced her Sprinter, in September on a trip back cross country from a color festival in Utah, her Sprinter’s engine blew a gasket. She was forced to sell it for a small amount, and is now in a need for a new Gaudiya Vedanta Outreach festival and prison program vehicle. She did not want me to create this fundraiser, but a reliable, long-lasting, new, travel, camper by which she can continue this compassionate service for many years, is needed. No amount is too small, and every penny will be used toward the vehicle. By contributing, you will literally be helping thousands of people become exposed to bhakti yoga. As of this date, Vasanti and her team have placed our Gurudeva’s books in over 600 prison libraries. It is really essential to reach out to all strata of soceity, from presidents to prisoners.
