My friend Gaudencio and his family need help. He and his family reside in Oaxaca, Mexico. I have known him for over 15 years, first as a coworker, then as a friend. I have been fortunate to have visited him in his town and it was such a great experience as well as an eye opening one. Oaxaca is one of the poorest states in Mexico, but beautiful, with an rich history, amazing food and kind people. Life in the rural towns can be difficult during the best of times.
There are many people that are struggling and I wish i could do something for so many other folks, but for this moment, I am thinking about G. I prefer not to say more other than "money is tight" and that covid is taking its toll on he and his town, financially and otherwise. He is in good health, fear not.
If anyone would be able to help with a few dollars it would mean the world to me. $2, $8, $18.50, whatever.

Not sure how this all works to be honest - as many of my friends know, tech, apps, etc are not my forte but i wanted to begin this now to help him as soon as i could.
