So as you all my of gathered our beautiful Adele is a very poorly girl right now. It all started with her suffering from head aches on and off for months and a stiff neck which the doctor told her was probably due to the way she was sleeping, or migraine , this however was not the case. On Monday the 7th March she was out driving and had a turn for the worse, she was rushed to hospital and on Tuesday 8th March she had a massive stroke. The stroke has hit the core of her brain which affects the majority of her brain, due to this we was told that they did not no how much brain activity she would have , meaning the chances of her talking or walking again could be very slim. As you can imagine we are desolated to think we have lost the heart and soul of our family, our beautiful Adele lost as to what we had known. Then the bad news kept on coming the likely hood was that once the breathing tubes are removed her heart will stop and they will not resuscitate. This would be the end of our world, how can we possibly live with out her. Her parents have refused to take this as the path for their daughter, who can blame them we all need her to get through this, for her baby boy Milano and her family we need her. The doctors have told us that there is nothing else they can do and that it is all down to Adele now and how strong she is, if you know her then you know how strong she is, she will fight this and she will get better. Her dad decided that he would prove the doctors wrong and get her communicating with us, and to our joy, surprise and utter relief she is defying what the doctors have said. She can hear us and is communicating using her eyelids, she is getting stronger as the days go by and she can now count to five blinking her eyes when she is asked to. The doctors at first told us this was normal and that we shouldn't get our hopes up, but they have acknowledged that she is communicating proving them wrong, showing that their is brain activity. Her farther Anthony Rudd or Ruddy to those who know him, has not left her side since she has been in hospital he is doing all he can to get her reacting and communicating and it's working. Her mother Sharon Rudd has had to juggle Adeles baby Milano and hospital visits, they both work and obviously can not go in. We know every one is praying for Adele and sending all their love, but if you would all truly like to help a small donation would be very much appreciated. This is so Ruddy can devote all his time to Adele in the hospital and keep proving the doctors wrong, and so Sharon can devote her time caring for both Adele and Milano without the worry of bills, they can concentrate on the important things and not have to hurry back to work. Also if Adele keeps fighting like she is we hoping that hospitals in other countries can offer more help and will do more to help with her progress so even if we can only raise enough for a flight it helps. We are holding on to every bit of hope without that we have nothing please help us to hold on to it. Thank you all so much X
