One of our dear DiscoveryBound NLC teens, Delaney Gatine, and her family lost their home in a fire Monday morning. The family escaped unharmed, but officials have told them that they lost everything.

Neighbors and friends have provided immediate assistance with clothes and finding a place for them to stay. The response from her fellow 2018C classmates – and extended NLC family – has been immediate and generous. Her classmates are working to collect items that she will need for their upcoming class trip, and also helping find needed items for her brother to attend camp. And beyond practical means, they are sharing their love and prayers – expressing the true meaning of family!

The National Leadership Council office is starting this campaign – and reaching out to the broadest extent of our DiscoveryBound family – to help support the Gatines as they get back on their feet, move forward, and as Delaney said, “make it through this tough situation with grace.”
