I am Savanna. My best friend Lizzie and I have been friends since 2008. We were friends from the start, and even though I live in Florida now, we have been going strong for the past 18 years.

Recently, Lizzie was diagnosed with lupus, which has escalated pretty quickly, leaving her in constant pain and with breathing issues that are worse than what she already experiences with asthma. Last Monday, on the 23rd of March, she was admitted to the hospital where it was found that she has double pneumonia, and today she was told she is in 40% heart failure.

Since her lupus diagnosis, work has been hard, and her employer has even begun to cut back her hours, so when she is able to go back to work, it will not be much. Medical expenses are beginning to pile up between pain medication and ointment for her skin. I am asking for any help that can be provided, even if it is just by sharing this.
