On Saturday night - 14th March 2026 (!!) - I am walking a half marathon together with colleagues and other supporters of gateways - the organisation where I teach.

gateways is an alternative education provider for young Jewish people who struggle to stay in full time mainstream education - often due to mental health challenges.

We have all heard so much about the perils of poor mental health - which is not rational or easy to fix, but when it strikes can be totally life changing.

gateways offers hope and the opportunity to achieve - despite the hurdles that 'our' young people face.

So please - support gateways - support them - support me because whilst walking a half marathon is a challenge for me - it is a walk in the park compared to what some are dealing with.
