My name is Jazmin Cervantes and I am doing this fund raise for my mother Maria Teresa Solorio Valadez.

My mom was diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 non Hodgkins lymphoma ( a cancer that attacks your lymphatic system) in February 2021. Her cancer was spread to her spine, right hip and right leg.

February 2021, While waiting for Chemotherapy she had a pathological fracture do to the big tumor on her leg. She went through the first of many surgeries to come.

Surgeon place a metal road from her hip to her knee to prevent more fractures. After going home after surgery she had blood cloth do to the surgery so we had to rush her back to the ER.

March 2021, She started her first Chemotherapy. Chemo took care of the cancer on spine and hip but the mass on her leg was still present. November of 2021, she started radiotherapy but didn't do much to the tumor on her leg.

March 2022, she was rushed to the ER with pneumonia and Covid19. She was hospitalized for about 3 weeks and came out with oxygen.

May 2022, she had a second pathological fracture on her knee. She was hospitalized and had a total knee replacement.

August 2022, She started her second chemotherapy. There's still no progress with the tumor on her leg. Doctors considered a Cell transplant.

October 2022, Doctors decided cell transplant its the best option and last treatment to try.

November 2022, Was hospitalized with serious infection of the joint on her leg and knee. Doctors considered amputation and my mother decided that was the best option.

Besides all mentioned treatments and procedures she had about 6 knee surgeries ( infection washout) many biopsis on her knee and many testing.

Present, my mother is completely heal from her amputation and is in process for prothesis. There's many testing pending to monitor her cancer and possibly going for a third Chemotherapy
