Dear Community,

With deep affection, I greet you—looking forward, as I know many of you are, to the coming winter in San Miguel de Allende and Puerto Vallarta, where year after year we’ve shared music, love, and friendship. It’s been over 10 years of building something together that goes far beyond the stage.

Today, I’m writing to you with an open heart to ask for your support during a delicate time in my life.

For the past 8 months, I’ve been going through a rehabilitation process for addiction. It’s been a path full of challenges, including multiple emergency hospital visits. Up to now, I’ve managed to cover my medical expenses through my own work and the loving support of family and close friends. But now we’re facing a new medical challenge: I urgently need a series of tests, including an endoscopy—and depending on the results, possibly surgery.

These expenses have surpassed what we can manage, and that’s why I’m turning to you.

Together with our beloved friend @Francine—who for years has offered us an artistic and cultural home in San Miguel—we’ll also be holding a benefit concert, which I’ll be announcing very soon.

And tomorrow at 6 p.m., I’ll be doing a livestream here, where I’ll share some music and speak with you a bit more about this journey I’m on.
