Gaspard’s Avec Le Courant Album & Tour

I’ve been a full time artist for 2 years now, investing every dollar earned in all my work. This journey has been truly amazing and I’m honored to keep striving for my dreams but I’m needing some help to get through this next goal. I’m currently set to release my sophomore album “Avec Le Courrant” at the end of October 2024. This banjo driven Bilingual Folk Americana record tells the stories of my Acadian ancestors and their exile from Nova Scotia, following the journey of my widowed grandmother Angelique Pinet Lege and her 3 boys. The album has been a huge creative undertaking but has sparked the interest of so many lovers in the folk music genre already. I’m nominated to perform for the New Song Songwriters Contest and SERFA in North Carolina and have a MainStage performance spot for the Festival Route 11 in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Of course this project and tour take so much funding that I simply can’t afford so I’m hoping to raise money to finish the mixing, mastering and prints for the album as well as help fund some travel expenses for the tour of its release. It’s more than a tour and album, it’ll be a pilgrimage up the East Coast to Nova Scotia for the Acadian Congress event Congres Mondial- there I will perform these songs on the land where my ancestors stood and return the stories to their home. Please consider helping me make this journey full circle
