It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Gaspar Lopez. On December 4th, two of our Grimes Events family members were involved in a terrible accident. Oliver Rodriquez suffered a skull fracture, but thankfully will recover. Gaspar and Oliver were in a car accident. God decided he needed Gaspar back in heaven with him and sent his angels to protect Oliver. Oliver has three young children under the age of five that he is living for.

Gaspar’s funeral is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th.

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank all of you who reached out, checked in, and asked how you could help.

We are reaching out to our friends and community to support the families anyway possible with medical, funeral, and travel costs. Grimes Events is setting up a Go Fund Me Page. Every penny counts to help Gaspar get back to his family in Guatemala.

We pray for everyone’s family and hope they find peace with God’s plan.
