Gašo Radmilović Kidney Transplant

Hi , my name is Ajla Karastanovic. On behalf of my father Ruzdo Karastanovic, we are helping raise funds for his best friend Dragan Radmilović of 45 years.

For those of you who do not know Dragan (Gašo) , he and my father grew up together.

He lives with his spouse and daughter and due to his illness he needed to retire from his job 20 years ago. In the meantime he is a fisherman.

Gašo has struggled with diabetes for 33 years. After having complications due to his diabetes, he was diagnosed with kidney failure at the age of 35. He underwent his first kidney transplant in February 2008.

Fast forward 15 years today, Gašo is once again in need of yet another kidney transplant. He is currently undergoing dialysis 3x a week, for 4 hour a sessions, until he can complete this transplant.

He recently got the news that he found a kidney donor. These financial donations would cover travel, lodging , surgical and post surgical needs.

Unfortunately , we are on a time crunch with less than a month left to come up with these funds.
