GASC dads versus 50 mile run!
Donation protected
On the 1st June 2024, Jean-Marie Burel along with the support from a selected few other GASC dads, is taking on a mammoth challenge to help raise funds for the ongoing running of Glenrothes Amateur Swimming Club, which is a non profit voluntary organisation.
Jean-Marie aims to run 50miles in one day. Jean-Marie will start his challenge off at East Sands Swimming Pool in St Andrews, then head along to Cupar swimming pool. From Cupar, Jean-Marie will make his way to GASC's home grounds, Michael Woods Sports Centre, where he will then be joined by a fellow GASC dad to help him along his way.
Both gentlemen will then head to Kirkcaldy swimming pool, Burntisland swimming pool, Inverkeithing swimming pool and make their way to their final destination, Carnegie Swimming Pool.
Another couple of GASC dads will join in along the way to offer both gentlemen their support and encouragement.
These amazing Dads are taking this challenge on to help not only raise funds for GASC but to also raise awareness of all the amazing sports centres that are available within Fife for children and young people to access which in turn delivers huge benefits to individual health and wellbeing.
Please get on board and help support these superb dads along the way. Any donation, would be hugely appreciated and will continue to keep GASC running as the amazing club it is.
GASC just recently won runner up for Fife Club of the year, so lets get behind this incredible club!
