Dearest Family and Friends,
In true Javier style and the way he lived his life continuously giving and giving, In the last couple of months, before he passed, he was working on a new charity creation. He came up with the idea of Gas Angels.
Here are Javi’s own words on why he created this: “I strongly believe that one person can make a difference! I remember many years ago when I was struggling, I went to the gas station asking for $1.27 on pump 2, enough to get me home, get some food and back to work tomorrow. I started to pump and it and it went pass the $1.27, I checked with the clerk, a random stranger filled up my tank! I am man enough to tell you, I sat in my car and cried and in my heart I knew everything was going to be OK! I will pay it forward, kindness begets kindness and that is the world I choose to live in!” - Javier J. Coto
As you see in the link to follow, he had already created the website, GasAngels.org! He did not get a chance to fully complete it. His beloved wife, Margo reached out to his close IT friends, who will finalize the site in the next couple of months. In the meantime, we have created a GoFundMe, so that the kindness that Javier wanted to spread can already get in motion. Even from heaven, Javier continues to change the world with his heart of GOLD!
