Hi, my name is Steve Fredette "Freddie" by those I work with at Hertz at the Kona Airport. On the morning of Sept 6th, a friend and fellow employee Gary Lyons was on his way coming to work to drive the shuttle bus when a driver crossed the solid line in the road and struck Gary in a head on collision. This was Gary's only source of transportation. Worst part, the driver who collided with Gary didn't have insurance. I am starting a GoFundMe fund raiser in an effort to off set the costs he is going to have to face in order to get transportation for him and his wife. Our goal is $10,000, which if nothing else will help offset part of the cost of helping Gary get a new vehicle.
