Gary’s medical recovery
Donation protected
My son Gary was in a horrible accident on April 19,2019 on his way to work. He lost control of his van after the gas pedal stuck. He ran off the road on Sardis Road North and hit a tree. CMPD declared it a fatal accident. However by the grace of God and many prayers Gary is alive. His injuries are massive. Twelve broken ribs, collapsed lung, left arm broken, elbow shattered, left leg amputated below the knee, both knees broken in many pieces, broken vertebrae in neck and back and broken hip. The trauma ICU nurses took over an hour to remove the broken windshield from his face and neck. He has many lacerations on his face and neck. To date he has had 12 surgeries. He is immobilized. After all the bones mend in another 6 weeks he will start the agonizing rehabilitation process to learn to walk and use his arms again. Meanwhile the bills pile up. Gary was self employed, with a wife, who has stage 4 cancer and is going through chemo. He also has two children. He couldn't afford insurance. Thank for your donations, no matter what size, will help reach the goal of his financial concerns.
