Gary's medical expenses and financial stress

Hello. My name is Amber and I am Gary and Wanda's oldest daughter. Myself, along with my sister Bailey are reaching out in hopes that you will open your hearts to help in this time of need like my parents have done for so many in the past.

In November of 2020 our dad was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colorectal cancer. Over the last 3 years our dad had gone through countless rounds of chemotherapy, testing, numerous surgeries, and multiple doctors appointments. Our mom took on 2 part time jobs to help allivate the financial stress with dad not working, as well as helping out with her 3 grandchildren on top it all.

In September of 2022, dad had surgery which included him having a temporary ileostomy bag, followed by a reversal surgery this June. Both of these surgeries have led to numerous complications resulting in dad being in and out of the hospital, with recent and current extended stays in the hospital, and at this time he's been in there 3 weeks with no discharge date in sight. This has also resulted in our mom having to miss multiple days of work to be with dad at the hospital.

Anyone who knows our parents, knows they would go above and beyond just to help anyone who ever needed it and now we are asking that our family, friends, work acquaintances or even strangers help our loving parents during this time.
