For the last 28 years Gary Moore was a cherished member of our Terracon family, a cornerstone of our Chattanooga office, and a dedicated earthwork and concrete technician whose expertise was unmatched. He took immense pride in his work, ensuring every project was built on a solid foundation—just like the relationships he built with those around him (he enjoyed training new technicians, and excelled at it).

Gary was more than just a skilled worker; he was a mentor, a friend, and a man of quiet strength. Few knew the depth of the battle he was fighting, bone cancer, because he refused to let it define him. He continued to work with the same dedication and resilience he always had, never asking for help, never showing his pain. That was Gary. A man of integrity, grit, and heart.

Sadly, Gary’s fight came to an end, leaving behind his devoted wife, Gail, who now faces not only the weight of grief but also the weight of her own physical disability and the financial burdens that come with losing her husband. Medical bills, funeral expenses, and the sudden shift in household income have placed a heavy strain on her.
