Hello family and friends! Thank you for the amazing support we have been so humbled and grateful for thoughts, prayers and surpassing our original goal. My dad is about halfway through radiation and has hit some health bumps. Last Friday he thought he was experiencing radiation side effects but it turned out to be diverticulitis. He unfortunately has lost about 15 lbs in the past week and then on weds he started feeling ill and has tested positive for covid. It’s been an extremely challenging time. He could use alll the love and prayers ❤️.

Hi family and friends it’s me Makenna. I’m creating this fundraiser to help take the stress off my dad while he kicks cancers ass, quite literally. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer, that’s inoperable. So he’s currently receiving daily radiation ☢️ treatments and hormone therapy. My dad is not only my person, the best dad a girl could ask for, the guy who raised me, but he’s also the best grandpa too!! He finally caught a break and was able to purchase a home through Opal Land Trust on Orcas Island, that helps low income islanders be able to pursue home ownership. He was getting ready to just enjoy this chapter of his life this little slice and was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer one month later. Let’s please come together to give a little relief to take some of the financial burden of this treatment off of him. So he can focus on healing and kicking ass!!
