Gary's Eyes and Ears

This is Kathy, Gary Henderson's daughter. A little over a week ago, dad was involved in a head on collision in OKC. He has been in ICU and undergone surgery for a fractured back, hairline fracture to his right femur, and some deep wounds to his legs. We really struggled with whether to set up this GoFundMe, as mom sees it as somewhat begging.  By the same token, many of you have asked how you can help.  This is one avenue that facilitates helping.  So we decided to go ahead.  His hearing aids and glasses were destroyed with the impact of the collision. Since our parents only source of income is social security and some retirement, we were hoping we could raise $5000 to be able to replace his hearing aids and glasses. Please know that more than anything you could ever give financially, we would much rather have your prayers as he begins the long process of his recovery. Anything received above our goal would be used toward medical bills. Thankfully, he is making progress daily. He is now out of ICU and he is doing remarkably well for an 81 year old young man.  Thank you!
