Hi guys!

 

As ye all know we are fundraising for a memorial bench for us all to be able to visit and remember Gary.

 

July 12th 2021, is a day many of us remember as a day someone so unique and wonderful passed away.

 

Gary was a character like no other. He was a talented musician & it was so beautiful to watch him perform. Even though he was nervous he always had us up dancing and singing. He was in his element and so were we watching him shine like the diamond he was

 

He knew every word to his favourite songs, to his favourite movies and shows. He would often act them out having us all in hysterics. Gary was the life and soul of everywhere he went. We all loved him dearly and knew we'd have some craic when he was out and about with us.

 

Gary had many friends who loved him dearly. His loss has affected us all in ways that I can't even describe. How can you describe losing someone who was the heart of our group?

 

Gary loved his family so much and his family loved him too. Always stuck by him on his hard days and tried everything to help him.

 

We are fundraising for this bench because we need a place to properly grieve and to remember someone so special. This town will never be the same for us again but at least a piece of him will always be there to sit and remember him the way he deserves.

 

This bench is also for everyone who has passed the same way. To honour the bravery of all the people who have fought a battle and by god did Gary fight. He was courageous and so brave.

All money raised will go to Martina McGuire( Gary's mother) to pay for the bench and anything left over will go to a charity of her choice.

 

We love you Gary and we always will. Here's to you. We hope we are making you proud.
