On Sunday 4th May, a good friend of ours - Gary - were involved in a life changing road bike accident which has resulted in lower leg amputation.
After undergoing surgery twice and lots of hospital sleeps from his wife, Kelly. Gary has spent nearly 2 weeks in hospital, now post surgery, Gary is showing determination & bravery.
Gary is a proud & dedicated husband & father to three beautiful children (8,7&10 month old). He has spent his entire life working hard for the life he wanted to provide for his family, but right now due to limited mobility, hospital appointments, long appointment times, travelling etc this unfortunately isn't an option being self employed & without no income we are hoping to ease some of the burden placed upon them, potential for house modifications or additions to make function at home easier, the petrol for the trips back & forth, the parking charges, the household bills, the shopping etc all still do need paying.
Any donations will help make this recovery period less stressful on them all & allow them to focus on his healing journey & being a family.
The family haven't asked for absolutely anything during this tough time & I am setting this up as they deserve to live without any extra worries right now.
