Gary Winitizer, a long time resident of Royalston, had his house burn on Thursday Nov 11th. Gary has been very active in the town. He was a Captain on the Royalston Fire and EMS for many years and was instrumental in the fundraising to get a Rescue Truck for the town. HIs dedication and commitment made that purchase possible. He is the guy who helps

makes the Wednesday Senior lunches happen, as well as the annual free flu shot clinic. Gary has been active in town as a former selectboard member as well as other committees.

This fundraiser is an opportunity for us to help Gary through the transition and the struggle to get back on his feet. While Gary would never ask for help we hope this will just make things a little easier.
