Hello to whoever is reading!
It is hard to explain what Gary is going through right now, fighting stage IV esophageal cancer with a brave face. He is beloved by many as a brother, friend, coworker, but to us as a father.
It is a long and difficult road ahead for him and the family, but we know how strong he is. Unfortunately, his medical insurance barely covers the treatment, and we all want him to get the best treatment possible to fight against this terrible disease. As two daughters who are still in their twenties, we do not have the funds to support him the way he deserves.
This development in his life has come out of nowhere for everyone, with him just celebrating his 60th birthday earlier this year and having his condition rapidly decline over the past two months. We know times are tough for everyone right now, but we could really use the help to ensure our dad has the resources to hopefully win this battle and make his life a bit easier during these stressful times. Every donation counts and is seriously appreciated as we navigate the new normal.
He has already begun treatment and will continue to have his signature attitude towards life, even through the rollercoaster he has unwillingly been forced to ride. Gary wants to fight and to heal, and we want to be able to support him in any way we can and alleviate the financial stress.
With love and hope for our dad,
Tabitha and Sabrina Willis
