Help Stacy, in Loving Memory of Gary Wallace
Donation protected
On June 14, 2022, our dear friends, Gary & Stacy Wallace, suffered a life-altering tragedy. Gary died unexpectedly in a trucking accident in Texas, at the young age of 55, and his wife Stacy is beyond devastated.
Gary was an amazing human being, wore his heart on his sleeve and did not hesitate to share his love and big heart with others. Gary cherished his friends and family fiercely, knowing that God had placed each person in his life for a reason, a blessing, and he was always very appreciative and would tell you so. To know him was to love him. Gary never met a stranger in his life -- To him, every person was just a friend he hadn’t yet met. He had unwavering faith in Jesus and took every opportunity to share it with those around him.
Stacy needs love and help to get through this. Gary was her person, her provider, and her protector. As you can imagine, figuring out how to navigate life so soon after a loss like this is unimaginable. Adding the difficulties of processing the waves of emotions and grief can make these next steps seem impossible. In the spirit of our brother Gary, and on behalf of our dear sister Stacy, we are calling upon ALL OF US to wrap our arms around Stacy and shepherd her through this time of tragedy. During times like this, when resources are limited or even complicated by red tape and dysfunction, our faith and living through Jesus Christ gives us the unique ability to relieve unnecessary burdens from those who are suffering. Stacy is suffering, her heart is heavy, and her burden is great.
Please find it in your heart to help lighten Stacy's burden and let her soul have some rest.
Matthew 11:28-30 ESV:
28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
