We are establishing a scholarship fund in memory of Gary Walhaug, a beloved member of our community whose passion for basketball and dedication to supporting young athletes touched many lives. To honor Gary’s legacy, we are creating a scholarship fund that will support women’s basketball players at Minot High and Minot State, and student athletes at Surrey. The award will reflect character off the court in addition to success on the court. In partnership with First Western Bank & Trust, we hope to create a lasting tribute that will help young athletes pursue their dreams and continue Gary’s tradition of encouragement and mentorship.
