Gary Vernon's Memorial

Hi, everyone. This fundraiser is a way to honor our dear friend, Gary Vernon! We served with him in VAQ-138! We were friends with him during that time and some of us, even after. Last night, February 16th around 2000 hours he passed away fighting his last breath battling COVID and Pnemonia while in a coma. His beautiful soul was taken way too soon. He could brighten a room with his smile and charm his way out of just about anything! Let's celebrate him by showing his family how much he meant to us and how much we consider each other family! I am in contact with family and his lifelong friend. Please share any stories, pictures or anything you want shared! HE will definitely be missed!

Funeral/memorial details are still pending but Gary requested a military funeral. The service will be held at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetary in Dallas, TX. Date and Time TBD as we know, the military funerals can be backlogged. I will update as often as I am informed!
