Gary Swindail's Mini Globe Race 2025

Hi ,

My name is Gary Swindail. I live at Narrabeen in Sydney Australia . I am fundraising to be able to campaign my self built Class Globe 5.80 mini ocean racing yacht in the Mini Globe Race 2025.

I have self funded the build up to now & had some assistance from a couple of friends to ship my boat to Antigua for the start in late February 2025.

I now need to raise funds to purchase compulsory safety equipment & also have enough finances to compete in the race.

Around the world , single handed in a 5.8 m self built yacht. I am a boatbuilder by trade with 45 years plus in the industry.

Any amount of donation will help me to reach my goal of sailing around the world single handed in a boat I built myself.

My boat is named "Question 2". My grand father built a Sabot for me, named 'Question" , when i was 8 years old so I have named my boat "Question 2" in his honour.
