Gary Sellers With Medical.

Hi! I'm Julie Sellers I'm trying to raise funds to help get tires and gas to take my husband Gary Sellers to and from doctor appointments and therapy.

In January of 2022 Gary got the diagnosis fo Stag IV b urothelial carcinoma (bladder cancer). It was in his bladder lymph nodes and 2 spots in his bones. It didn't look good but the doctor thought he may be able to give us a few more months. He went through chemo 10 hours a week for 5 hours a day over 2 days every other week. On his off weeks he had to go for lab work and fluids. He did this for 8 treatments. A PET scan after the chemo was over showed that all of the cancer was gone, even out of the bones. God had given us a miracle. They did immunotherapy everyother week to try and keep the cancer gone.

In August of 2022 Gary started having headaches, personallity changes, forgetfulness, they did an MRI of the brain and it was clear. Three weeks ago after immunotherapy Gary became sick and couldn't shake it. He thought it was the flu, then he became forgetful, then incoherent. May 24, 2023 thinking Gary had a stroke they did another MRI and found multiple tumors in his brain ranging from 5.9mm to 3cm. Gary's time with us is short they are doing radiation hoping they can give us 3-6 more months together.

We had a small savings but the first year gas and medicine took that. I'm asking for help to get tires for our van and gas money to get Gary to and from doctor appointments and therapy. After his radiation he will continue with immunotherapy to try and slow the growth of the cancer.

Update: Gary's CT showed no sign of cancer in his body and his rib is healing very well. Today May 31st he started a new Chemo that has been proven to cross the brain blood barrier. This chemo will not cure Gary but they are hoping it will slow the growth and give us more time. He will have chemo 1 day each week for 3 weeks then 1 week off then repeat. It will kill his short term memory. I've tried to thank everyone but my words really can't say what my heart is feeling.
