From: Lisa Waldrum Riddle, Chad Riddle & Jennifer Riddle- Wiencek. ( wife and children)
It is with great sadness that we have to share the unexpected passing of the kindest man to walk this earth, Gary Riddle. He always carried a smile and spent his life trying to put a smile on anyone he encountered. He truly had a heart of gold. Gary was that one person you could count on anytime or anywhere no matter what you may ask of him, he never wanted or expected anything in return except to make people happy. He honorably served his country via the Army, again trying to help in anyway he could. Gary worked his entire career as a union laborer with excellent work ethic, he was a hard worker who had been happily retired. Gary was a genuine family man, great husband, father, grandfather, uncle & brother. His passion was golfing. He had an entire family of golf buddies he loved playing with. He was a die hard Tennessee Titans and Vols fan. He loved old muscle cars and hotrods. However, nothing meant more to him in this world than spending time with all his grandchildren, which knew him as "Papaw". He was beyond the textbook definition of a grandparent. He took his grand children to do everything they wanted to do and more. They meant the world to him as he meant the world to them. Gary set a great example to them of how to live a good life and how to treat others. We are all so grateful and blessed to have been a part of his life and witness his positive influence on others. Words just cannot express all the great things this man has done for his loved ones, family, friends & others. He will be dearly missed by many. In lieu of flowers we have started a fund to help his wife, Lisa Waldrum Riddle. This was an unexpected and tragic event. Memorial contributions may be made to this page and will be used by the family for funeral and other expenses. Funeral services will be held Spring Hill Memorial 5239 Main Street.
