My name is Taylor and I’m Gary’s granddaughter. Our family is heartbroken after losing our beloved grandad, and we are desperately trying to raise funds to give him the funeral he deserves❤️

During this already devastating time our family were deeply upset by some of the care he received. On one visit, a band had been placed on his arm to take blood, but when my mum returned hours later it was still tightly on his arm. By then his arm had become extremely swollen and badly discoloured, leaving a visible mark. Seeing someone we love treated this way while so vulnerable was heartbreaking.

Complaints have been raised, as no patient — especially someone at the end of their life — should ever be treated without dignity and care.

Five days later, our grandad sadly passed away peacefully. He leaves behind three sons and a large, loving family who adored him.

Unfortunately, my grandad passed with very little, and we are now trying to raise funds to help cover his funeral costs and support the family during this incredibly difficult time.
