In response to requests from artists, staff, and friends of Caldwell Snyder Gallery, we have chosen to launch a campaign for Gary in this time of need. He has dedicated more than 20 years to the gallery, and we are so fortunate to have him as a coworker and friend.
Gary stands looking out over what use to be a two-story, four bedroom home that he had lived in for nearly 30 years. His son Brian helps look through the remains in hopes of finding something salvageable.
Gary, like so many others, has yet to find an available place to live and faces a minimum two year battle with insurance hassles, environmental cleanup, and rising construction costs due to the demand of so many others who lost their homes and need to rebuild with limited number of contractors and resources.
The financial burden he faces for the next two years - a non forgiving mortgage, rising housing rents, insurance claims that won't cover new re-constructions costs, clothing, furniture and numerous personal needs, etc. is a hardship undeserved. Any financial support would be most appreciated and helpful in keeping Gary's spirits strong. We thank you in advance.
