Hi, Sandy(mom) & Dean'na(hospital choosen sister) here! We created this go fund me to help Gary & Michele with their medical expenses and to lessen financical hardship on the  household.
As most of our friends & family knows : On April 7th , with two other friends Gary & Michele took off on an adventure ; a week long motorcyle tour through Ca., NV, AZ, to Zion National Park in UT then back through and home to Napa Valley. It was amazing, beautiful, fun &  much needed. Right up until ,Thursday April 13th, the last leg of the trip. Gary & Michele were in a serious motorcycle accident in Death Valley, Ca. As a result they were taken to the nearest hospital and then Medevaced to  University Trauma Center Las Vegas where Michele spent 4 days, 1 surgery, & starting a long recovery from multiple broken bones including back & eye socket (ouch). Gary spent 5 days in ICU , approx. a total of 12 days in the hospital, 3 surgeries (2 surgeries on a shattered left hand & 1 on a broken pelvis) and then medevac to Napa Valley Care Center for Rehab hoping less than 6 weeks. 
Gary is currently at the Napa Valley Care Center rehabbing his hand and pelvis. It looked like he might be getting to go home a little early, but unfortunately, as of today Gary has an infection, and is recieving IV antibiotics as well as he still has not got to see the pelivis specialist , so he has been unable to get up on his feet . They are now unsure how much longer Gary will be in Rehab, probably at least another 3 weeks maybe more. 
Michele is home but has to go to all kinds of doctor and rehab appointments to keep moving forward on her long road to recovery. 

Meanwhile  work, medical, household, & business bills keep stacking up.  
Most of you know: Gary & his business partner Troy own a small motorcycle custom build & repair shop ("Moto-tec").  The business has been growing in the past 2 years but this has been a major set back for Troy and the business as well. They hired a tech a couple days before Gary left with a plan that they would be able to expand for more profit (take on more work because they would be able to complete it faster, get paid faster, & be able to do more work including more custom builds and sales). Fortunately, they did hire a tech and with the help of 2 friends who we are very grateful to have the shop is close to maintaining the same turn around time. 
Gary has been recieving his normal work draw from the business to try to keep his & Michele's household going and as whole as possible considering. It is a big load for a small business, but fortunately the business at this time has been relatively healthy, however the question is will the business be capable of this for all time that Gary needs & even if the business is able to make it happen until Gary is well enough to work again.... I bet you can probably image the medical expenses that just keep coming......So far the estimated medical expenses: The helicopter ride alone was $57,000, $350 ,000 for his stay in the Trauma Center, medevac plane ride to Napa $38,000 , $150.00  a day in the rehab plus all the normal household expenses. Approximately totalling  so far $475,000 and still growing.  Again fortunately, he has medical insurance80/20 plus 2500 dec. & $5000 medical coverage on the bike. But the out of pocket is no joke ....too close to $100,000. Gary & Michele need our help and every little bit helps . We totally understand, if you can't  help . Sometimes we can help, sometimes we can't but if you can it would absolutely be appreicated, We can not express to all of you how thankful & grateful we are for all the prayer, positive thoughts, chanting, love & support everyone has given Gary, Michele  & our family.
