My name is Rachel Davis, I have had the privilege of calling Shelby my best friend for the last 13 years. On September 12th at 1130 pm I received a frantic phone call from Shelby she informed me she was unable to reach her dad and that he hadn’t come home from fishing which was very abnormal for him. She was able to ping his location and showed he was on the river. She contacted the authorities and they we’re able to use a drone to locate his boat, once it was located they preceded with sending out deputies by boat, upon arrival on scene they were able to locate Gary but he was deceased. At this time cause of death is still unknown. I am creating this go fund me to assist in covering funeral expenses. And any other expenses that may arise for the family during this time.
