Hi, my name is Christina and i am Gary's sister.
On November 27th, Gary was on his way to work like any other day. As he was driving he stopped at the St. Josephs hospital ER in Burbank as he wasn't feeling well. While he was checking in, he had a seizure so they rushed him in for a scan where they found a ruptured brain aneurysm. Over the course of the next 2 weeks Gary fought an extremely hard battle that he ultimately ended up losing. He underwent a craniectomy, cerebral vasospasm treatments, developed sever pneumonia, and showed signs of severe brain damage. Gary ended up passing away on Dec 12, 2023, at the age of 46. Gary leaves behind a Son (23) and Daughter (18).
Gary wasn't unhealthy, he wasn't overweight, he was extremely active, constantly working....he was a perfectly normal and healthy 46 year old man. This truly came out of left field and has left us all speechless. His story has really been an eye opener to not take things for granted, and that life is short. Never go to bed angry and always tell the people in your life that you love them!
Gary was an extremely hard working electrician that had been part of the IBEW for over 25 years. He was a loved father, son, brother, recent uncle, and friend. We are putting this go fund me together to allow people who knew and loved Gary to contribute to his memorial service and aid in clearing up his medical expenses, etc.
I would like to thank everyone, in advance, for any contributions you're able to make.
Thank you!
