Hello, my name is Nancy Thornton and I am Gary James' Favorite sister, big sister. I love him dearly and my sister-in-law Debbie.

On Tuesday Gary had a doctor appointment and was sent directly to the ER. He had chest pains, Blood Pressure very high and shortness of breath. They got him in, they were in the ER for 16 hours. He was admitted to the hospital. Gary has a partially paralysed diaphragm which causes one lung to be deflated. They ran every test and determined that it was not heart related. His thyroid is way over what it should be so they are working to fix that. His BP is all over the place so they are working hard to get it controlled.

They performed a lot of breathing tests and based on these tests he has severe asthma, off the scales severe. He stopped breathing several times and will need oxygen at night until a sleep study can be performed.

I talked to him last night 1/7/2023 and he was more worried about getting his Baseball program started for his Keystone Rangers and losing 50.00 a day because he hasnt been able to drive his bus.

You see, my brother is a teacher and coach and has dedicated a lot of time and money out of his own pocket for his kids. His first worry was not himself but his kids.

As you can imagine, medical bills even with insurance can be devastating plus trying to keep up with regular while out sick can be stressful. Debbie has been a trooper, by Gary's side this entire time missing work too.

I have set up this fundraiser to try and take some pressure off financially so Gary aka Coach James can concentrate on getting better.

Please, pray for both Gary, Debbie give the strength and healing. If you can help I would be so grateful and I know it they would be too.
